OUR VISION
‘Enable locally’ & ‘unify globally’ to enable underprivileged girl leaders through sports , creating role models overcoming traditional gender norms to lead social change for their community and beyond.
OUR MISSION
To Leverage sport as a platform for facilitating leadership & community building among underprivileged girls, and challenge discriminating social norms with contemporary & relatable hero stories of girls who play.
OUR MILESTONES
2014-2023
2014-2017
Sponsored local tournaments and exposure to international tournaments for college kids.
2018
Sponsored underprivileged girls for international events like the Homeless World Cup & Dana Cup.
2020
Started 2-Year $2K scholarship program with 10 underprivileged girl leaders (3 nonprofits, 2 Indian State).
2021
Scholarships extended to 32 underprivileged girls (15 nonprofits, 9 Indian states + 1 African country)
40 scholarships + First solve Ninja Problem-Solving skill building cohort.
2022
Gave out 57 scholarships through 16 grassroots nonprofit partners across 12 Indian states and Mali, Africa
Organized hands-on changemaker skilling+mentoring programs for 45 girls (3 cohorts) who attended the Solve Ninja Problem Solving skill building workshops.
UNIFY 2022, Bhubaneswar - Platform for S4D organizations to enable allyships and amplify impact and a space for girls to share, learn and inspire each other.
2023
Grew scholarships 1.6X yoy to 87 girl leaders with 17 dialects (including sign language) across 13 Indian states
Launched programs: (1) Rural Girl Coach Incubation with 3 year academy set-up support for 2 girl leaders. (2) Initiated career mentorship program with 9 girl leaders.
Evolved & started testing an exhaustive but simplified 8-module 21st century Social Emotional Learning program in collaboration with partner orgs.
Restructured org by creating a "9-member Girl Leaders' Council," and onboaring a 7 member board, 2 functional advisors, 1 Insights & Skilling Manager, and 2 skilling-partner orgs.
Established India entity “Real Sports Association” (12A & 80G certified Section-8 NGO) to enable donor tax exemption.
